Education without co-curricular activities is like knowledge without practicality. Co-curricular activities are those through which the learner explores his abilities, gradually eradicate his weaknesses and there by creates a broader vision of life. These activities help every student to boost their confidence and spirit of independence. The students learn to contribute, manage and organize individually as well as in a team.

The above words have come true as the college has played its role in making the students of St. Vincent Pallotti College to practice and venture into the field helping us to experience really how it is when one encounters the real situations. Regular coaching class is giving to adopted Khapra Bhatti School by Department of Computer Science students. They have really understood and gained a lot of confidence during these sessions.

From our department we have send four students and each deal with different subjects . They taught English, General Knowledge, Maths and Hindi. In English vowels and articles were explained. In General Knowledge classes the days in a week and months in a year, fruits vegetables etc. In math’s they deal addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. In Hindi they taught them the basic grammar. They used the blackboard teaching method, and allowed the students to interact regarding the subject, questions were asked and they were also able to answer.

The moments they spent in the classes with the students were relishing and a new learning to us. Overall it was a good experience and a learning how to live.
